Miss America graces Prive Las Vegas

Former Miss USA Shanna Moakler headed to Privé Las Vegas on Friday for a girl's night out with several of her close friends. The television star and ex of Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker told onlookers that it had been awhile since she spent time with her friends and
was happy to be at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino hotspot. The group
drank Belvedere Vodka and sugar-free Red Bulls, while they danced on the VIP
banquettes until 2 a.m.

On Saturday, Moakler returned to Privé for the
Official Miss America After-Party, drinking her same poison from the
previous evening, vodka with sugar-free Red Bulls. Not too far from the
former Playmate was pageant host Mario Lopez who drank Evian water with a
large group of friends until 1 a.m. The nightclub was full of the celebrants of the Miss America pageant as Privé was the official spot of the pageant's after party.












Rounding out another celebrity-studded weekend was another packed night at We Rock Hip Hop Mondays attended by rock legend Gene Simmons. The KISS bassist, who does not drink alcohol, spent his entire evening talking to fans and taking pictures. Also at Privé on Monday, RZA from the Wu-Tang Clan singing several of their hit tunes and partying
with friends until 2 a.m.

It was an amazing weekend at the Planet Hollywood hotspot Privé. Simon "Dirt Nasty" Rex and Andre Legacy returned to Privé to perform "1980" and "My D*ck." While sitting at their VIP booth the duo drank vodka drinks all evening until 3:30 a.m. They weren't the only performance on Friday, as R&B crooner Ray J came into the club and did an impromptu performance of "Sexy Can I." After his performance Ray J drank Grey Goose, Patron Tequila, and Red Bulls while chatting up several ladies until 3 a.m. Also there, rapper Too Short.

On Saturday, Privé opened its doors to several cast members of MTV's hit show, "The Real World". Issac Stout from the Sydney, Australia season hosted the evening while drinking Budweiser all night. The guys got on the mic to rouse up the crowd, elevating the party atmosphere. The reality stars partied hard until 4 a.m.

Surrounded by a wall of security, Snoop Dogg came to Privé Las Vegas on Monday to kick off the club's one year anniversary of it's hip and happening industry night. The rapper and actor got behind the DJ booth and greeted the crowd welcoming them to We Rock Hip Hop, the brand new name for the Planet Hollywood hotspots Monday night. At 3 a.m. Snoop joined fellow Hip Hop star Too Short at his VIP table to perform "Life Of The Party." Snoop drank cranberry juice and partied with his entourage until 4:30 a.m. Also at Privé on Monday hip hop artist Warren G.

What a start to a New Year!




Privé kicked off 2009 with a one-year anniversary bash hosted by Denise Richards and Lance Bass. Richards was at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino hotspot to film the premiere episode of her E! show's second season. The "It's Complicated" star arrived at the nightclub with her father Irv around 11:30 p.m. Richards was nervous about getting up and doing the countdown in front of thousands of Privé's New Year's Eve guests but co-host Lance Bass helped to ease her concerns. The former *NSYNC star was in Vegas to perform on the Dancing With The Stars tour. Sharing his VIP table were two of the show's professional dancers: Cheryl Burke and Kym Johnson. At Midnight, Bass and Richards headed to the DJ booth to welcome in 2009 to roaring sirens and a large confetti drop. Following the countdown, the two danced at Richards' VIP table where the Privé cocktail waitresses brought out a Jerobaum of Dom Perignon to celebrate. Also at Privé: DMC, from RUN DMC performing several of his hits and manning the turntables.






On Thursday Privé welcomed Grammy-award-winning DJ Benny Benassi. Benassi started his DJ set at 1 a.m. and the crowd went wild. When Benassi would go on the mic, the post-New Year's Eve crowd cheered and continued to dance and party as if was Decemeber 31st all over again. Benassi named Privé the best club in Vegas as he was leaving the venue at 3 a.m. Also taking in Benassi's set, rapper Too Short. The New Year's Eve celebrations continued with a wild crowd on Saturday and a special performance by Shwayze and Cisco Adler. The up-and-coming artist performed their hit "Buzzin" and "Corona and Lime" around 1 a.m. and then continued to party at the nightclub until after 3 a.m. Finally, the weekend festivities culminated with another hot locals night on Monday.
